The Corvette is, in our opinion and many others’, one of the most iconic vehicles in the history of the automotive industry. The original Chevrolet Corvette made its debut all the way back in 1953. It was a very different vehicle back then than it has become, but no less iconic. Today, the Chevy Corvette family consists of three different models, and soon they will be joined by a fourth. Information regarding the 2025 Chevy Corvette lineup has begun trickling out, so we thought we’d dive into what’s new and give a brief overview of some highlighted specs found in each model.
Before we dive into the specifics of each model, we’ll take a look at what’s new for the 2025 Corvette family as most of the changes apply to all three models, and most of them have to do with colors. That starts with the return of the Sebring Orange Tintcoat Metallic exterior color options, followed by two new options: Competition Yellow Tintcoat Metallic and Hysteria Purple Metallic. There are also two new interior color options – Habanero and Black with Blue Stitches – and a new Velocity Yellow brake caliper color. Finally, a leather steering wheel airbag cover is now standard on the 1LT,, 2LT, 1LZ and 2LZ trim levels of each model.
In addition to these family-wide enhancements, there are a couple other changes to specific models. The Corvette Stingray Z51 Performance Package is now equipped with a new spoiler, enhancing aerodynamics and aesthetics together. For the Corvette Z06, four additional 10-spoke wheel finishes have been added to the mix, including Pearl Nickel, Gloss Black, Polished and Bright Polished with Carbon Flash Pockets.
Finally, we did want to mention something that has been teased. Virtually zero information has actually been revealed, but a 20-second teaser video was released by Chevrolet in which the automaker announced “the unthinkable is coming this summer.” What’s the unthinkable? Well, the return of the absolutely legendary ZR1 variant, the best-performing Corvette model ever built. Once more details about this phenomenal new model become available, we’ll be sure to fill you in right here on our blog, so check back often.
As you can see, there are plenty of excellent options for you to choose from if you’re looking to get one of the most iconic vehicles ever built for yourself.
